Terms of Service

The short version

  • StickyFriend is an AI agent that can see and act on your current browser tab, plus a web app — built and run by a solo developer (that’s “we” throughout this page).
  • You sign in with Google. You’re responsible for what you ask the agent to do, since it acts on your behalf.
  • Paid plans bill through Stripe and renew automatically; cancel any time and keep access until the period you paid for ends.
  • Standard AI usage runs on a fixed 5-hour window that starts when you first use it — spend it early and you wait for the reset. The details are here.
  • AI can be wrong. Double-check anything important before you rely on it.
  • We can suspend accounts that abuse the service; you can stop using it whenever you like.

The service

What StickyFriend is.

StickyFriend is a Chrome side-panel extension whose AI agent can see and act on the tab you’re currently on — it looks at the page (processing screenshots of it in real time to decide what to do) and can click, type, scroll, and navigate on your instruction. It’s paired with a web app that stays in sync with the extension: chats, projects, notes, to-dos, plans, and calendar items are shared between the two.

StickyFriend is operated by iSamurai L.L.C., a Delaware (USA) limited liability company. Wherever these terms say “we,” “us,” or “our,” that’s who is meant.

Accounts & eligibility

Google sign-in is the way in.

You create an account by signing in with Google. Neither the extension nor the web app has a password field, and an account created through them is given no usable password — so in practice your Google account is what controls access to StickyFriend, and you’re responsible for keeping it secure.

To be exact rather than tidy: our server still carries legacy email-and-password endpoints from an earlier version of StickyFriend, no client calls them, and they are being removed. While they exist they do work, and they are described in our Privacy Policy. Using them is not a supported way to hold an account, and an account made that way is subject to these same terms.

You must be at least 13 years old to use StickyFriend. If you’re in the EU/EEA, UK, or Switzerland, you must be at least 16 unless your country has set a lower digital-consent age and you have a parent or guardian’s permission to use it. Don’t create an account on behalf of someone who doesn’t meet this bar.

Acceptable use

The agent acts for you — so you’re responsible for what you point it at.

Don’t use StickyFriend to abuse other people or services, to break the law, or to automate anything illegal — scraping in violation of a site’s own terms, spam, credential stuffing, harassment, fraud, and similar are all off-limits. Don’t try to interfere with the service itself (overloading it, reverse-engineering it to bypass usage limits or billing, or accessing accounts that aren’t yours).

Because the agent takes actions on your behalf on the pages you send it to, you’re responsible for the instructions you give it and what it does as a result — the same way you’d be responsible if you’d clicked through it yourself.

Subscriptions & golden credits

Billed by Stripe, cancel any time.

StickyFriend offers Bronze (free), Silver ($10/mo or $100/yr), Gold ($50/mo or $500/yr), and Diamond ($100/mo or $1,000/yr — yearly billing on any paid plan gets you two months free). Paid subscribers can also buy one-time golden-credit packs: Mini ($5 / 100 credits), Mid ($20 / 500 credits), and Maxi ($60 / 2,000 credits).

All billing is processed by Stripe through its hosted checkout — we never see or store your card details. Subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period until you cancel. You can cancel any time; your plan stays active through the end of the period you already paid for, and then drops to Bronze. Cancelling never claws back credits you already hold. If we ever change a plan’s price, we’ll give you notice before it takes effect on your next renewal. How to cancel, including what to do if the self-serve button doesn’t open, is on the refunds page.

Golden credits included with a paid plan are added to your balance each billing cycle, plus a small daily top-up, and unused ones do roll over. Those plan credits have a ceiling: once you’re holding twice your plan’s monthly figure in plan credits — 600 on Silver, 3,000 on Gold, 6,000 on Diamond — the monthly grant and the daily top-up stop adding until you’ve spent back below it. Nothing is ever taken away; the top-ups simply pause.

Credits bought in a one-time pack are tracked separately: they sit on top of your plan credits, they don’t count towards that ceiling — buying a pack raises the total you can hold, rather than switching your monthly grant off — they don’t expire, and they’re only spent once your plan credits have run out. Packs are a subscriber-only product, and that rule is enforced when the credits are granted rather than only in the interface: if a pack is somehow bought on a Bronze account, the purchase is refunded automatically and no credits are added, because there would be nothing to spend them on. Unused credits of either kind stay on your account if you later change plans — though the ✨ Smarter AI is a paid-plan feature, so on Bronze there’s nothing to spend them on until you subscribe again.

Three things are not included in Bronze at all, and they’re refused by our server rather than merely hidden: the ✨ Smarter AI, downloadable file deliverables (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and Guidelines. They start at Silver.

One thing a plan buys besides volume, stated so it isn’t a surprise: on Gold and Diamond, ✨ Smarter requests are sent to our Smarter provider marked as priority rather than standard. Gold and Diamond share that same priority queue — Diamond does not get a faster one than Gold — and Silver and Bronze do not have it. It affects queue position only: the model, and everything sent to it, is identical on every plan. Nothing about the Standard AI is prioritised on any plan.

See our refund policy for how refunds work.

Usage limits & fair use

The 5-hour window — and it is a fixed one.

Standard AI usage — on every plan — is metered in a fixed 5-hour window that starts when you first use the AI, not a rolling one. This distinction matters, so here it is plainly:

  • Your window opens on your first request. Everything you spend for the next five hours counts against one allowance.
  • When those five hours are up, the window closes and the whole allowance comes back at once, on your next request. Nothing trickles back before then.
  • So if you spend the whole allowance in the first ten minutes, you are locked out of the Standard AI for the remaining four hours and fifty minutes. A rolling window would let you back in gradually; a fixed one does not. The meter under your chat shows the countdown to the moment it reopens.
  • The window is reset lazily, the next time your account is looked at — so it reopens on your next request after the five hours are up, not by a clock ticking in the background.

Paid plans include a higher multiple of that same allowance — 5× on Silver, 15× on Gold and 30× on Diamond, against Bronze’s one — but the shape of the window is identical on every plan, free or paid. Golden credits, used for the optional ✨ Smarter AI, are separate from that window entirely and keep working while it is closed: plan credits arrive monthly (plus a daily top-up) and roll over up to the ceiling described above, and pack credits don’t expire.

A ✨ Smarter reply is not a flat one credit. The charge is worked out from the size of the exchange, with a minimum of one credit per reply, and what the model writes weighs about five times as much as what it reads — so a long answer costs several credits and a short one costs one.

These limits exist so the service stays usable for everyone. Don’t try to script or automate around them — accounts that do may be limited or suspended.

Your content, and the license we need

You keep it; we get permission to run the service with it.

You own what you put into StickyFriend — your chats, notes, projects, and everything else you create. You grant us a limited license to host, store, process, and transmit that content solely to provide and operate the service, including sending the relevant parts of a conversation to whichever AI model is handling it (our self-hosted model by default, or MiniMax when you turn a chat’s “Smarter” toggle on — see our Privacy Policy for details).

No warranty, and check the AI’s work

It’s an assistant, not an oracle.

AI can get things wrong — it can misread a page, click the wrong element, or give you an answer that sounds confident but isn’t accurate. Always verify anything important — numbers, form submissions, purchases, legal, medical, or financial information — before you rely on it.

StickyFriend is provided “as is,” without warranties of any kind, to the extent the law allows. To the extent the law allows, our total liability for any claim arising from your use of StickyFriend is limited to the amount you paid us in the 12 months before the claim arose.

Suspension & termination

We can suspend or terminate an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms — abuse, illegal use, or trying to circumvent billing or usage limits, for example. You can stop using StickyFriend at any time, and you can have your account erased — self-serve in the web app as that control rolls out, or by asking the support desk, which runs the identical erasure. Deleting cancels any live subscription before anything is removed, so it can never leave you paying for an account that no longer exists.

What deletion leaves behind is set out precisely in our Privacy Policy, and it is short: the raw payment notifications Stripe sent us (unlinked from you, with Stripe’s payload intact), per-request usage rows stripped down to tokens, cost and date, and a deletion receipt holding a one-way fingerprint of your email rather than the address. Your invoices in our database go with the account; the billing records that are legally required to be retained are Stripe’s, held by Stripe under Stripe’s own policy, and we cannot delete those on your behalf.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States, without regard to its conflict-of-laws principles.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms as StickyFriend changes. Material changes will be noted in the changelog, and the “last updated” date above will move. Continuing to use StickyFriend after an update means you accept the revised terms.
